What do I love to do when I’m not writing, or reading?

I love to spend time having fun with my wonderful and supportive husband, family and friends. With my sisters and friends I can girl talk all day about…well, anything and everything. I always enjoy time with my grandchildren. They keep me going and they’re funny.

Dance, dance dance. Met my husband taking ballroom dance lessons. Still dancing and have met many wonderful people.

White-water rafting, zip-line frenzy, walking, playing pickleball. These are my adrenaline seeking adventures. More on these in other posts.

Yummy, wine is good. A Christmas gift got me, along with my spouse, making wine at home. I haven’t tasted any wine that is better than ours. It’s a great hobby for us.

I put reading in the title. I have been devouring books since my first trip to the school library. Growing up Catholic, I first read about many saints, those early Christians whose lives were devoted to Christ, many of whom risked and gave their lives in spite of those who persecuted them. Then I found more books that opened the world up to me, and I haven’t stopped. Regarding books and writing, I agree with Stephan King that people can’t be writers if they don’t read. How can I relate to readers if I’m not also a reader. Makes sense to me. Happy reading, folks!
